KeyCode issues the release 5.1.00 for WebHat CMS
The release 5.1.00 for KeyCode’s WebHat CMS has alredy been installed on all ASP servers (the update on ISP servers depends on the configuration given by the ISP itself)
CMS multilanguage panel
WebHat CMS has a multilanguage panel: you can indeed change the language of the entire control panel, which means that also people who do not know Italian can use the CMS.
We have added a new window with account settings where every user can set the language of the system. To display this form you have to click "Start" and place the cursor on "Settings" (look at the picture on the side).
After setting the language, you will have to reload the entire panel clicking "System Reload".
Interfacing WebHat CMS with Google Analytics
The new CMS's version permits to interface WebHat with Google Analytics. Clicking "Settings Management" you can insert the Google account access data of your site; after taking this step, you will be able to consult the estatistics directly in WebHat by clicking "Site Access".
New menu items organization
In this release we have removed some menu items that were considered outdated and we have added new items to improve menu organization.
- Added or modified functions:
- Basic Modules and Additional Modules: the two buttons have been incorporated in one single section named "Modules".
- Google Analytics: we have added the box related to Google Analytics's settings in the "Settings" menu.
- Removed functions:
- Site export: the export was limited to the text of pages in XML. This function, which often confused the users, will be developed in the next releases in order to permit a more complete export of the data stored in WebHat CMS;
- Pages Composition: the form showed pieces of information which have been grouped in the "Pages Tree" and "Loose Page" management forms;
- Database server: the form showed technical information, regarding the database server used by the system, which did not affected the interoperability with the CMS;
- System Log: modification date of the pages is already displyed in the summary of the page.
