Art. 1.
(Objectives and aims)
1. The Republic recognizes and protects the right of every person to have access to all of the sources of information and relative services, comprising also those that are articulated via information technology and telecommunication instruments.
2. In particular, the right is protected and guaranteed with regard to the access of information technology and telecommunication services of public administration and to public utility services by disabled individuals, in compliance with the principle of equal opportunities and in accordance with article 3 of the Constitution.
Therefore, public administrations will need to focus on websites accessible to disabled people.
